Cabling the SCSI Hard Drive Cage
To cable the internal SCSI hard drive cage to the Smart Array 5i Controller:
1. Remove the SCSI cable from SCSI connector B on the system board.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the SCSI cable from the SCSI backplane on the
hot-plug hard drive cage.

2. Connect the SCSI cable to the Smart Array connector B on the system
board.
