Extending the Server from the Rack
To perform maintenance and upgrade procedures, either remove the server
from the rack or extend the server from the rack. To extend the server from the
rack:
1. Loosen the thumbscrews that secure the front bezel to the front of the
rack
.
2. Extend the server on the rack rails until the spring-load rail lock
engages
.

3. After performing the installation or maintenance procedure, press the
tabs on the ends of both server rails and slide the server back into the
rack.
4. Tighten the thumbscrews to secure the server in the rack.
