The HP BladeSystem Management Pack for Microsoft® System Center Essentials 2007 integration is
designed to perform the following major functions:
• Identify, group and display HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosures within the System Center Essentials
Console
• Populate System Center Essentials with enclosure attributes and configuration data for HP hardware
and software components
• Monitor and display the state of HP BladeSystem c-Class enclosure hardware and the associated
management services
• Proactively identify, translate, and display HP hardware events written to the Windows® Event Log
as System Center Essentials alerts
• Provide browser-based links to HP management tools for hardware resource management and
advanced remote administration from within System Center Essentials
