Tasks
The HP BladeSystem Management Pack for Microsoft® System Center Essentials 2007 includes
predefined tasks that can be used to access in-depth HP BladeSystem information, carry out advanced
remote server administration, and perform lifecycle management on multiple enclosures. HP tasks appear
in the Actions window or context menu from associated class instance. Not all tasks appear in every view
because tasks are associated with specific classes.
The HP BladeSystem Management Pack 1.0 for System Center Essentials 2007 includes the following
tasks:
• HP BladeSystem Enclosure Monitor Manager
• HP Onboard Administrator
• HP Integrated Lights-Out
HP Onboard Administrator task
The HP Onboard Administrator task launches Internet Explorer to access the Onboard Administrator Web
Console. This task is available from the HP BladeSystem Enclosure and any HP BladeSystem Health
Collections. To access the Onboard Administrator Web Console, you must input your username and
password in the initial login screen.
