How to Wire CAT5e Jack
Remove approximately 2” of the outer
jacket from the cable. Take care no to
nick the wires.
Trim excess wires fl ush with the cover
edge.
Remove approximately 2” of the Secure
the cable jacket to the strain relief slot
in cover.
Snap the prepared cover in place.
Untwist pairs and insert into color coded
slots for either T568A or T568B standard.
Take care to maintain the twist to within
.5” of IDC contact.
Seat cover with parallel action pliers.
SFCable Wall Plates come in either Ivory or White and consist of any-
where from one to six ports. Great for use with our Audio/Video, Cat5e
and Cat6 Network Keystone Jacks, as well as our Telephone Keystone
Jacks.
