3 Choose hp centre.
4 Click hp centre again.
HP Centre opens and lists the message titles.
To read a message, double-click the message title
in the window. You can close this window, and
HP Centre remains active.
To turn off the HP Centre Service
You cannot receive messages, including
important support messages that may be
critical to the operation of you PC, while the
service is off.
To turn off the HP Centre Service:

If you change your mind later, you can turn on the
service. See “Re-enabling the HP Centre Service”
in the following section.
1 Click Start on the taskbar.
2 Choose All Programs.
3 Choose hp centre.
4 Click Disable hp centre.
The service is turned off until you re-enable it.
Re-enabling the HP Centre Service
When you re-enable the HP Centre Service,
the service runs whenever you are connected to
the Internet, and you receive messages as they
become available.
If you disable the service, you can use the
Re-enable hp centre icon on the desktop to turn
on the service.
To turn on the service:

Double-click the Re-enable hp centre icon
on the desktop.

1 Click Start on the taskbar.
2 Choose All Programs.
3 Choose hp centre.
4 Click Re-enable hp centre.
