SOFTWARE LICENSING
DECset software is furnished only under a license. The
DECset license includes all components, which may
also be licensed separately:
• HP Code Management System
• HP Digital Test Manager
• HP Language-Sensitive Editor/Source Code Ana-
lyzer
• HP Module Management System
• HP Performance and Coverage Analyzer
For HP DECset for OpenVMS Alpha Systems and for
component products, licenses are available for Unlim-
ited System Use, Personal Use, and Concurrent Use.
Each Personal Use license allows one identified individ-
ual to use the layered product. Each Concurrent Use
license allows any one individual at a time to use the lay-
ered product. The Concurrent Use licenses are shared
on Alpha Systems.
For HP DECset for OpenVMS Integrity Systems and
component products, a single license type called "per-
core license" or PCL is offered. Each Per Core License
(PCL) allows any number of individuals to use the li-
censed product at the same time, with one PCL license
required for each processor core running OpenVMS.

License Management Facility Support
These layered products support the HP OpenVMS Li-
cense Management Facility.

ating System documentation. To obtain more informa-
tion about the HP licensing terms and policies, contact
your local HP office.
