Integration Kit
Considerations
• Migrating HP content from SCCM 2007 to SCCM 2012 is not supported.
• Do not install HP Insight Control server provisioning and SCCM on the same network because
they both contain PXE servers.
• When upgrading, HP supplied files and scripts are overwritten. If you have modified these
files and scripts, make a backup copy before upgrading.
Installation
1. Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
• The server meets the requirements detailed in the Support Matrix.
• The logged in user has administrator level privileges.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 is installed.
• All local SCCM consoles are closed.
2. On the SCCM primary site server, start the installation from the HP Insight Control for Microsoft
System Center image by executing autorun.exe. Click Install, then click HP SCCM 2012
Integration Kit.
3. On the License Agreement screen, click Accept.
4. On the Verify Prerequisites screen, click Verify.
If the verification fails, make the necessary corrections and click Verify again.
