Then the following operations are prohibited:
■ File > New
■ File > Open
■ Edit > Add Device
■ Edit > Delete
The following commands are not blocked if they are currently running:
■ Device > Backup
■ Device > Restore
■ Device > Setup
■ Device > Agent Update
■ Tools > Network Discovery
■ Tools > Prioritize Network Traffic
Instead when you click Finish at the end of the wizard corresponding to
the command you are given the choice of:
■ Queuing the new task to run after the current task finishes.
■ Canceling the current task, allowing the new task to run immediately.
■ Canceling the new task, allowing the current task to finish.
For scheduled tasks to execute, 3Com Network Director must be running.
On exiting the application all currently scheduled tasks are cancelled.
Tools > Options Menu
Option
This menu item launches the Options dialog box, which is used to
configure the default behavior of 3Com Network Director. The Options
dialog box consists of the following tabs:
■ General — default file locations and how the application should
behave.
■ Device Management — options for managing devices in your map.
