■ If Web management is the default management option by
double-clicking on the NBX Call Processor icon on the map. See “
Tools
> Options Menu Option” on page 76 for information about setting
this option.
3Com Network Director opens NetSet in your default web browser and
automatically logs in using the administrator username and password you
specified during the network discovery. As a result, the NetSet home page
will be displayed.
If the NBX system was not discovered, or the wrong username or
password has been specified for that NBX Call Processor, NetSet will open
in your default web browser at the login page instead of the home page.
Launching NetSet for a phone or line card
There are several ways to launch NetSet for a phone or line card using
3Com Network Director:
By selecting the phone or line card icon on the map, then selecting the
Device > Web Management menu option on the main menu.
■ By right-clicking the phone or line card icon on the map and selecting
Web Management in the menu which appears.
■ If Web management is the default management option, by
double-clicking on the phone, or line card, icon on the map. See
“
Tool s > Options Menu Option” on page 76 for information about
setting this option.
3Com Network Director opens NetSet in your default web browser and
automatically logs in using the username and password you specified for
the related NBX Call Processor and navigates to the Device Configuration
page.
If the selected phone is not managed by any of the NBX Call Processors
on the map, NetSet will fail to launch. Instead, a warning message will be
displayed.
If the NBX system was not discovered, or the wrong username or
password has been specified for the selected phone’s related NBX Call
Processor, NetSet will open in your default web browser at the login page
instead of the home page.
