User's Manual
596 CHAPTER 14: BULK CONFIGURATION
When modifying the account parameters for a default user account the
associated checkbox must be checked or the change will not be applied.
Configuring Access Rights
The Access Rights feature allows control of the interfaces and protocols
through which users at each access level can manage the network
devices.
Figure 322 Access Profiles Panel
For each user access level the panel allows the user to enable or disable
management access to the device through SNMP, Telnet, Web, Secure
Shell (SSH) and the console port. Select the setting for each access level
and access method from the associated drop down list.
3Com Network Director does not allow the user to disable SNMP access
for the security access level as this would prevent 3Com Network Director
from carrying out any further configuration of the device.
Configuring Trusted IP Hosts
The Trusted IP Hosts feature allows the definition of the range of source
addresses from which the network devices will accept SNMP requests and
management connections.
