Configuration Editor
Dialog Box
The Configuration Editor dialog box allows the user to create, edit, and
save configuration templates, containing the settings that are to be
applied to a device or port selection.
Using the Configuration Editor dialog box it is possible to:
■ Create or modify an existing configuration template.
■ Launch the selection editor see “Selection Editor Dialog Box” on
page 584
to view and modify the devices or ports to configure.
■ Start a configuration operation to apply the configuration template to
a device or port selection.
Launch the Configuration Editor dialog box by choosing either the Switch
Devices… or Switch Ports… option, from the Device > Configure
submenu.

The dialog box represents the contents of a configuration template using
a number of feature based configuration panels; one configuration panel
is visible at a time on the right of the dialog box. The dialog box provides
an overview of all of the features available in the configuration template
in the form of the configuration summary tree, on the left of the dialog
box.
