BULK CONFIGURATION
Overview This chapter describes how the Bulk Configuration feature in 3Com
Network Director can be used to configure a range of settings on one or
more of the 3Com devices in a network in a single operation.
Bulk Configuration can be used to:
■ Create, edit and save configuration templates to control the settings
of the 3Com devices on the network
■ Select a group of devices or ports to apply a configuration to
■ Issue a configuration change to one or more supported devices, of the
same or different types, in a single operation
A single configuration may be applied to multiple devices of different
types. However, 3Com Network Director will only allow a configuration
template to be applied to devices that the configuration is applicable to,
according to the settings defined within it.
