Device History Report
To view all of the VLAN creates and edits that have been performed by
3Com Network Director on your switches using the Create VLAN and Edit
Port VLAN Membership wizards, you can launch the Device History
report. To do this:
■ Launch the Reports dialog box by selecting Tools > Reports.
■ From the Report types list box, select the Device History report and
then click Generate Report to generate and launch the report.
Examples Finding all switches on which a particular VLAN is configured
To list all of the switches on which a particular VLAN is configured:
1 Launch the Options dialog box from the Tools > Options menu option
and select the VLANs tab.
2 Select the Include only configured devices radio button if it is not already
selected. This ensures that only switches on which the VLAN is configured
will be found by the Find dialog box.
3 Launch the Find dialog box from the Edit > Find menu option.
4 Select Devices in the Find: drop-down menu if it is not already selected.
5 Select VLAN in the Search by: drop-down menu if it is not already
selected.
6 Select the VLAN that you want to find the switches for within the VLAN:
drop-down menu and click Find.
When the search has completed the results list will contain all of the
switches in your network on which the selected VLAN is configured.
