Attaching Alerts to Items
To attach an alert to, or remove an alert from, the items that the Attach
Alerts dialog box was launched for, toggle the check box for the
appropriate alert from within the Attach Alerts dialog box.
The alert will become active after you close the Attach Alerts dialog box
by clicking OK.
If you attach a Sound alert to an item then the alert’s action will only be
successfully performed if you have a correctly configured sound card and
suitable speakers or headphones on the PC running 3Com Network
Director.
Configuring Alerts
Alerts can be created, modified and deleted from within the Setup Alerts
dialog box, launched by clicking Set Up Alerts:
