■ If the connected interfaces are of different media types, but are all of
media types that are commonly used for WAN communications then
the cloud type is set to “WAN”.
■ If the connected interfaces are of different media types, and at least
one of them is of a type that is not commonly used for WAN
communications then the cloud type is set to “Mixed”.
■ If there is no interface connected to the cloud, the cloud type is
unknown.

Properties Dialog Box for a Non-WAN Link
The Properties dialog box for a non-WAN link between two nodes
consists of a tabbed pane. There is no tree on the left-hand side, as
shown in Figure 108
.
