Description
This subcommand also resets the port associated with this ldev number. Also, any
session or job running on the device is aborted.
When it is complete, the reset prompt will be displayed and you can then enter another
RESET subcommand.
R[ESET] PO[RT]
Clears the software associated with a particular port so that the associated device can be
used again.Security level: 2.
Syntax
PO[RT]
dtcnum,cardnum,portnum
Parameters
dtcnum
Number of the DTC to which the device is connected. This is the
number TermDSM associates with this DTC.
cardnum
Number of the interface card within the DTC to which the device is
connected. The cards are numbered from zero beginning at the bottom
of the DTC as you face the back of the DTC.
portnum
Number of the port on the interface card. The ports are numbered from
zero beginning at the left of the board as you face the back of the DTC.
Description
This subcommand resets the ldev number that is currently associated with the port. It
also aborts any session or job that is running on the port.

R[ESET] SI[C]
Resets all ports of a specific Serial Interface Card in a specific DTC.
Security level: 2.
