TermDSM Commands
DT[C]
Chapter 4
55
DT[C]
Lists each DTC assigned to the system and displays the number that TermDSM has
assigned to each DTC.
Security level: 2.
Syntax
DT[C]
Description
When this command is entered, information similar to the following is displayed on the
terminal:
Your system has these Datacommunications Terminal Controllers:
DTC Network Name
Number Address
----- -------- ----
1 08000900180A BIOLAB
2 080009000808 MARKETING
3 080009001234 TIMESHAREROOM
^
Use this number as the "DTC number" in TermDSM commands.
The DTC Node Name that was associated with each DTC at configuration time is
displayed along with the IEEE 802.3 station address of each DTC. The number in the
first column is assigned by TermDSM and these numbers must be used in other
TermDSM commands to reference particular DTCs.
After the above display is printed, the major prompt will be printed and you may enter
another TermDSM command.
If, during a TermDSM command, you make an error in specifying a DTC number, the
above display is automatically printed to the terminal for your convenience.
NOTE The listing of DTCs with an IEEE 802.3 station address and name is not a guarantee
that each DTC exists, is installed, is powered on, or is otherwise functional. This
information is obtained from the NMCONFIG.PUB.SYS file and is therefore only a
reflection of what has been configured (correctly or otherwise).
