CONNECTION
This command accesses the subsection that displays information about the connections
currently active on a specified DTC board.
Security level: 2.
Syntax
C[onnection]
Description
After the Connect command is entered, the following prompt is displayed on the
terminal:
(show connection)
SHow #,#
(carriage return to exit) ?
If you press
[Return]
instead of the subcommand, you will be returned to the major
prompt and can then enter another TermDSM command.
SHOW
This command displays information about the connections currently active on a specified
DTC and card. The information displayed is formatted according to the type of
connection and the type of board.

Syntax
SH[ow]
dicnum.cardnum
Parameters
dicnum
The number TermDSM associates with a particular DTC. The DTC
command lists each DTC with its assigned number. This list is also
printed when you enter an invalid number for a DTC number.
cardnum
Number of the interface card within the DTC to which the connection
list is displayed. The cards are numbered from zero beginning at the
bottom of the DTC.
Description
The three basic types of information are given.
• Information on the source. For example, the DTC board and port the device is
connected to, or the X.25 address of the device initiating the connection.
• Information on the destination. For example, the destination nodename, or the DTC
board and port the destination is connected to.
