Time Zones
To set the TZ variable to a specific time zone, use the MPE SETVAR
command. For example, if you want to specify the Pacific Time Zone in
the United States, enter the following MPE command:
setvar TZ “PST8PDT”
In the TZ string above, PST represents the time zone abbreviation for
Pacific Standard Time, 8 represents the difference in hours between
Pacific Standard Time and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), and PDT
represents the Daylight Savings time zone abbreviation for Pacific
Daylight Time.
