6.5 Configuring and Updating Manually Installed Products
Some products require additional configuration steps. Refer to your checklist for the products that were
identified during previous procedures.
1. Refer to Appendix A, “Manually Installed Products,” and the appropriate product manual for these
instructions. The products will not be operational until you perform the necessary configuration changes
or update utilities. Manually installed products include:
• HP ALLBASE/4GL
• ALLBASE/SQL or IMAGE/SQL
• OpenView Console/System Manager
•SNA IMF/iX
• HP Predictive Support
• Java/iX
• File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
• Non-HP (Third Party) Software
2. Recustomize any necessary files.
• Configuring Manually Installed Products completed. Go to the next section on your
checklist.
