– check syslog for remote connection
attempts; if there are none, does
your firewall allow connections to
port 25 on your 3000, and are
your 3000’s DNS entries visible to
the remote users?
– verify that the remote users are
using valid e-mail addresses for
your 3000, I.e. USER.ACCOUNT
or an alias, plus the correct
hostname
