Terminal and Printer Profiles
Terminal Profile Screen (Host-Based)
Terminal Profile Screen (Host-Based)
The Terminal Profile screen is used to define characteristics associated
with a terminal profile. Figure 7-2 shows a Terminal Profile screen for
host-based management. The PC-based Terminal Profile screen varies
slightly, see Figure 7-4, Terminal Profile screen (PC-Based).

Review the profile settings on the screen. Use the
[Tab] key to move
from field to field. Make changes as needed by typing over the current
values. When you have made the desired changes, press the
[Save Data]
key. Refer to the “Fields” subsections for detailed information about
each field on the screen.
Press the [Prior Screen] key to return to the Profile Selection screen or
Press the
[Go To Switch] key to go to the Terminal Switching
Configuration Screen.
Fields
Terminal type
The terminal type associated with the profile. Three
terminal types are supplied with MPE/iX: terminal
type 10, 18 and 24. See Terminal Types earlier in this
chapter.
