7. If there are SNP cards installed in the DTC, run NMMGR and modify the
configuration for Level 1 and 2 screen and Level 3 screen.
8. Modify any other X.25 card configurations as needed to complete the X.25 and PAD
configurations such as PAD ldevs, SYSLUGs and security.
9. Validate the configuration.
10. Invoke DTCCNTRL to apply the modified X.25 configuration. This can be done at the
prompt that is displayed after validation is complete or later at the CI prompt as
described above for dynamic configuration.
Automatic configuration can also be initiated from within NMMGR. See the Configuring
Systems for Terminals, Printers, and Other Serial Devices manual for the procedures on
how this is done.
NOTE You can only perform automatic configuration of new DTCs if you are operating in a
host-based management environment. In a PC-based environment, DTCCNTRL will report
an error when the command is invoked.
