With certain networks (such as Transpac, in France) the called address
is removed from incoming call packets and the calling address is added
to outgoing call packets by the network. For these networks, enter only
the subaddress (or NONE, for one system only) in this field, not the
full X.25 address.
System Nodename This is the NS node name as configured as NODENAME in
NMCONFIG.PUB.SYS on the system where you wish to allow connections
or an IP address. The field is not case sensitive. The list can contain up
to 32 system nodenames, plus the reserved nodename DTC_USER_IF.
Incoming calls with a called X.25 address corresponding to
DTC_USER_IF are routed to the DTC user interface. This can be
useful if you want to display a message telling users to phone a certain
number or for passing on new routing information.
The format of the nodename is nodename.domain.organization.
Step 18: Configure PAD Security
NMMGR displays the DTC X.25 Card Configuration — PAD Security screen
(Figure 3-18) if you press the
[Go To Security]
key from the DTC X.25 Card Configuration
screen or the DTC X.25 Card Configuration — PAD Switching Table screen. On this
screen, you associate PAD calling addresses to PAD access lists. These lists control what
calling addresses are allowed to establish a PAD connection through the DTC/X.25
Network Access card being configured.:
