implementation of setuid(), setgid(),
and a superuser uid of 0
•The main sendmail porting
challenge was to provide such a
uid/gid emulation layer
•This emulation is enabled via the
/SENDMAIL/CURRENT/SENDMAIL
program file setuid and setgid bits
which are not currently used by
MPE, I.e.:
chmod u+s,g+s
/SENDMAIL/CURRENT/SENDMAIL
