SNA Links Overview

SNA/X.25 Link Overview

• OS/400 operating system (all SNA-related software is included

within the OS/400 operating system).

representative.

HP e3000 Hardware and Software Requirements

You can run SNA/X.25 Link on any HP e3000 computer that has at

least 32MB of real memory. Depending on your system conﬁguration,

more memory might be required. Contact your Hewlett-Packard sales

representative for more information.

SNA/X.25 Link requires this HP e3000 hardware:

• A HP e3000 computer system.

• A block mode terminal that is supported by VPLUS, for use with the

Node Management Services (NMS) NMMGR conﬁguration manager.

Note that since SNA/X.25 Link requires the X.25 XL System Access

product and the DTC/X.25 Network Access product, the required

hardware for those products is also required by SNA/X.25 Link. (See

the Getting Started with the DTC manual for more information.)

SNA/X.25 Link requires this HP e3000 software:

• HP e3000 Multiprogramming Executive with Integrated POSIX

(MPE/iX) operating system.

• NS X.25 System Link.

• NS X.25 Network Access.

• OpenView DTC Manager.
