MPE Commands
RESUMENMLOG
RESUMENMLOG
Resumes NM logging after a recoverable error.
Syntax
RESUMENMLOG
Use
RESUMENMLOG can be issued from a session, a job, a program, or in
break. Pressing
[BREAK] has no effect on this command.
Description
RESUMENMLOG resumes logging to the NM log file (NMLG
nnnn
.PUB.SYS)
after it was suspended because of a recoverable I/O error, once the error
has been corrected.
For example, assume that the system is on line, NM logging is enabled,
and a recoverable error occurs. The error is corrected and the
RESUMENMLOG command is issued. This message is then displayed on the
system console:
NMLG FILE NUMBER
nnnn
. NM LOGGING RESUMED
NMLG FILE NUMBER
nnnn
ON
See Chapter 5 , “SNA Link Troubleshooting,” for more information
about logging.
