• 9x7s not supported in 7.0 The decision has been made to not support 9x7s on the 7.0 release. The
final version of MPE/iX Release 7.0 will not boot on 9x7 systems.
• 6250 half inch tapes will not be supported as a distribution media in 7.0. As a matter of fact we
are going to end the support for all releases sometime this year.
