STREAM Parameters

Parameter Description

file

This parameter specifies the name of the file to be streamed. This file can be

any valid stream file. All passwords in the file will be ignored.

char

As with the MPE

STREAM

command, this causes the

STREAM

command to

look for command lines to start with the specified character.

NOSCHED

This parameter ignores all scheduling information in the file, if it exists. All

jobs will be streamed for execution at the time the command is executed.

NOPASS

This parameter prevents automatic password insertion.

schedparms

Any of the valid scheduling parameters, including

IN=

AT=

DAY=

and

DATE=

. Specifying any of these parameters automatically enables the

NOSCHED

parameter.

STREAM Examples

To stream a job from a file created by the

MERGE

command and to ignore all scheduling

information in the file, enter:

I> STREAM JOBS;NOSCHED
