One-Way Conversation With Conﬁrm

The synchronization level of a conversation (whether it will use conﬁrm

or not) is established when the conversation is initiated, in a parameter

of the MCAllocate intrinsic. Figure 3-5 illustrates a one-way

conversation with conﬁrm, using the MCConfirm intrinsic.

MCConﬁrm

The MCConfirm intrinsic sends a conﬁrmation request to the remote TP

and waits for a response. MCConfirm replaces (person asks “Did you get

the message?”).
