Worksheet Information
The following is a description of the information that needs to be
gathered for the worksheets that follow in this chapter. This
information is used for configuring nodes.
Neighbor
Gateway IP
Internet
Address This is the IP address of the gateway specified on the
Neighbor Gateways screen. The IP address is in the
same format as the LAN Configuration screen. An
example of an address is: C 192.007.007 001
IP network
address The IP addresses of all the remote networks that can be
reached through the gateway whose IP address is
configured in the previous field. If the gateway node is
to serve as a default gateway, enter an at sign (@)inone
of these fields.
IP mask The IP mask allows you to specify a subnet mask for
each reachable network. This is in the same format as
an IP address. This mask is optional.
Hops This is the number of hops (full gateways) that a packet
travels to reach a remote network from a local network.
Two partner gateway halves count as one hop.
