asin
asin
Returns the arc sine of the input value in radians.
Syntax

Parameters
x
A real number.
Return Values
n The arc sine of
x
.
0 The magnitude of the argument of asin is greater than one or less than
negative one. errno is set to EDOM.
Description
The asin function returns the arc sine of
x
, in the range of −pi/2 to pi/2.
A DOMAIN error is printed on the standard error output if
x
is greater than one or less than
negative one.
Error-handling can be changed by a user-written matherr function.
