Ldev The logical device (ldev) number to be associated with the port. Each
ldev number must be unique; it may not be duplicated by any other
device configured on the system. If this is a managed DTC, you may
assign an ldev of (-1) to a port with a TERMINAL or HOST profile type.
A port with an ldev of (-1) and a TERMINAL profile is a non-nailed
ldev. Ports configured using a PRINTER profile type must be
configured as a nailed device.
Profile Name The terminal or printer profile name to be associated with the port. If
no profile name is entered, then the DTC port is assigned the
parameters of the non-nailed TIO lev’s profile specified on the Host
Configuration screen. The features defined by the profile must
correspond to the actual operating features of the port and its attached
device.
To configure a different card, enter its number; then press ConfigCard
The card that you want to configure next. Use this parameter in
combination with the
[Config Card]
key to select and move to a different
card in the same DTC. For example, after card 0 is configured, enter a
1 in this field and press the
[Config Card]
key to move to the
configuration screen for card 1.
