16. .If your original configuration was Host-Based, then skip to step 19. If your original
configuration was PC-Based and you have DTCs in the PC-Based tree that you want
to merge into the Host-Based tree, then continue with the following step.
Run NMMGRVER with the special parm that will launch the Host Migration
tool:
:run NMMGRVER;PARM=77
You will be prompted for the filename to be migrated. Enter NMCONFIG.PUB.SYS.
This will run the tool that will take the DTCs configured in the PC-Based tree
and merge them with the configuration added to the Host-Based tree by the
command file created on the PC.
The following message will be displayed if the migration was successful. If you
see any other error messages, the migration was not successful. Go to the
manual Using the Node Management Services (NMS) Utilities for more detailed
descriptions and action to take to fix them.
CONVERSION completed successfully. (NMMGRVERMSG 0)
17. If the Host Migration tool finds any configuration discrepancies, then you will see
the following message:
Migration process found configuration discrepancies. (NMMGRVERWARN 50)
The tool will also display messages indicating the nature of the discrepancies. You
must correct them for the configuration to validate successfully. See Appendix B for
the cause and action to take to correct any configuration discrepancies.
18. Run NMMGR and correct any configuration discrepancies found by the Host
Migration tool. Validate the configuration with Validate/DTS and correct any
configuration errors displayed.
19. Update the configuration to customize any TIO or PAD ports you desire.
20. Perform a DTS shutdown/restart:

:dtccntrl func=restart
21. Shutdown the OpenView DTC Manager PC that WAS managing the DTCs. Remove
any TACs that may still be installed in the DTCs.
22. Cycle the power OFF then ON for all the DTCs. They should reset and download
successfully from this host.
23. Startup X.25 and PAD protocols on any desired DTC. You can use the new Manage
