AS/400 Hardware and Software Requirements
SNA/SDLC Link requires this IBM AS/400 hardware:
•AnIBM AS/400 computer system with the appropriate
communications controller card installed.
SNA/SDLC Link requires this IBM AS/400 software:
OS/400 operating system (all SNA-related software is included
within the OS/400 operating system).
For more-specific information, contact your Hewlett-Packard sales
representative.
HP 3000 Hardware and Software Requirements
You can run SNA/SDLC Link on any HP 3000 Series 900 computer that
has at least 32MB of real memory. Depending on your system
configuration, more memory might be required. Contact your
Hewlett-Packard sales representative for more information.
SNA/SDLC Link requires this HP 3000 hardware:
A HP 3000 Series 900 computer system.
A Programmable Serial Interface (PSI) card and the appropriate PSI
cables (contact your Hewlett-Packard sales representative for more
information). One PSI is required for each active link to the remote
system.
A switched or leased full-duplex or half-duplex data communications
line between the HP 3000 and the remote system. Note that whether
full-duplex or half-duplex transmission is used is determined by the
remote system configuration or the modem used on the remote
system.
A block mode terminal that is supported by VPLUS, for use with the
Node Management Services (NMS) NMMGR configuration manager.
SNA/SDLC Link requires this HP 3000 software:
HP 3000 Multiprogramming Executive with Integrated POSIX
(MPE/iX) operating system.
