FSCHECK
Operation
CHECKDIRC [CD]
The CHECKDIRC command checks the directory on the specified volume set for internal
consistency and makes sure that for each directory entry there exists an associated file
label entry. This command assumes that all volumes of the identified volume set are
mounted and available and that the system is fully operational.

CHECKDIRC [DEV=]
set_name
ALL
[;IGNORE]
[;FIX]
[;LOG=
filename
]
Parameters
set_name Set_name is the name of the volume set whose directory is to be checked.
The volume set must be opened (the set's master volume must be mounted
in the MASTER state) as displayed by the DSTAT command.
ALL All checks the directory on all mounted volume sets.
IGNORE Ignores errors detected by CHECKDIRC and continues checking the
directories.
FIX Fixes the errors detected by CHECKDIRC and continues checking the
directories. This is the default option.
filename Filename
is the name of a log file on which CHECKDIRC messages are to
be written. If this parameter is omitted, the output will be displayed only
to $STDLIST.
