Users and system administrators who do client-initiated backups, recovers, and
archives from an HP 3000 MPE Networker client will benefit from this guide.
This guide assumes that you are an experienced MPE/iX user.
About This Guide
This guide contains information on backing up and recovering data using the
NetWorker MPE/iX NSRSAVE and NSRRECOV programs. Instructions for
using the NSRARCH and NSRRETRV programs are also included.
The guide is organized into chapters and sections to help you locate the kind
of information you need, such as step procedures with examples. The Preface
describes the typographic conventions and symbols used in this guide.
Chapter 1 gives you an overview of NetWorker. Chapter 1 also gives an
overview of MPE volume sets. Chapter 2 describes how to back up your data.
Chapter 3 describes how to recover any lost or damaged data. Chapter 4
describes how to archive and retrieve data.
