Updating From Global Installation Prior to NetBase 9.6
Any release prior to 9.6 is unsupported and the NetBase Shell must be removed before updating to
the 9.7 Release.

1. Logon as MANAGER.SYS,PUB.
_____
2. Remove the NetBase Shell:
:RUN NBVERS.PUB.NETBASE,DISABLE
:RUN NBINST.PUB.NETBASE;INFO=”REMOVE”
_____ 3. Reboot the system.
_____
4. Proceed to Step 1 of the “Installation Steps” section.
