Prompting for Patterns
In cases where no patterns have been specified on the command line, HP Search prompts for search
patterns. At each pattern prompt, enter one pattern specifier and press Return. When you are finished
specifying patterns, press Return. If you enter "help" or "?", HP Search displays context-specific help about
the syntax of specifying patterns.
In this next example, a single file (FILEA) is specified on the command line to be searched with the option
USECASE. (By default, HP Search does not pay attention to whether a character is uppercase or
lowercase. The USECASE option makes HP Search sensitive to the case of the pattern it is searching for.)
:HPSEARCH "FILEA WITH USECASE"
