Initialization
string Optional field that specifies the string that will be sent
to the attached device under one of the following
circumstances:
• After resetting a port.
• After closing a session on the host and returning to
the DTC user interface.
• After entering the escape character during a system
session and returning to the DTC user interface.
• After establishing a connection to the DTC user
interface for modem connections when all modem
signals are up.
Field is case-sensitive and can be up to 16 characters, including special
characters and escape-code sequences in the format ˆchar.
