Increase in Number of TCP Connections

Introduction

Prior to the MPE/iX 6.5 release, TCP on MPE/iX allowed a maximum of 10240 connections.

HP has enhanced the TCP module to get up to 20000 connections.

Conﬁguration through NMMGR

You need to conﬁgure the machine to allow it to accommodate up to 20,000 connections.

The NMMGR screen for conﬁguring the maximum connections looks like this -
