Hewlett-Packard NetWorker Client for MPE/iX
Features
These are the key features of the NetWorker Client for MPE/iX:
• Provides an easy-to-operate graphical user interface and maintains
a file index and media index to track data backed up and recovered.
• Supports a wide range of industry tape (DAT) and DLT libraries and
furnishes a sophisticated media manager which allows for
unattended backup and restore using autochange library.
• Provides for concurrent device support for backup and recovery
operations using up to 16 backup devices simultaneously.
• Utilizes most of the features of 7x24 True-Online Backup since
NetWorker uses TurboSTORE/iX 7x24 for backup. However, it will
also work with FOS STORE and TurboSTORE/iX.
• Supports automatic backups of MPE volume sets. Also provides the
ability to run two or more scheduled backups in parallel.
• Provides an optional Legato NetWorker Archive Application which
gives the ability to take a snapshot of finished project files,
directories, or MPE volume sets residing on primary media and
safely stored on removable media.

• NetWorker Server software (LEGNETWR), HP-UX Network Edition
• Auto-library license for the server (LEGAUT0C)
HP Response Center Support
The NetWorker Client for MPE/iX currently has software supported
through Legato, and NetWorker server software (LEGNETWR) has
software support available through HP or Legato.
