Hangs
hangs are usually difficult to diagnose.
determine the scope of the hang, what is affected
gather as much information as possible BEFORE
deciding to get a memory dump.
if you have to reboot the system to clear a hang you
may as well get a memory dump too, time permitting
memory dumps of hangs can be MUCH larger than
system abort memory dumps
