TermDSM Messages
ACTION: Determine the correct X.25 destination address as configured
on the Level 3 Configuration screen in NMMGR. Reenter the XNetwork
subcommand using the correct X.25 address.
For example, to perform a loopback for an SNP card contained in slot 3
of the DTC designated as DTC #1, with a destination address
configured as 345678, you would enter the following subcommand at
the DIag subcommand prompt:
XN 1,3,345678
MESSAGE: You have entered a bad X25 status option. X25 status
options range from 1 to 4. (TDSM 610)
(TDSM 610) CAUSE: The user entered an invalid status option for the SNp
subcommand of the TermDSM STatus function.
ACTION: Reenter the subcommand using one of the valid status
options, as follows:
1 = Global
2 = Level 2
3 = Level 3
4 = PAD
For example, to obtain information about the status of PAD support on
an SNP card contained in slot 3 of the DTC designated as DTC #1, you
would enter the following subcommand at the status subcommand
prompt:
SN 1,3,4
MESSAGE: The X25 status option is missing or invalid. X.25 status
options range from 1 to 4. (TDSM 611)
(TDSM 611) CAUSE: The user failed to enter a valid status option for the SNp
subcommand of the TermDSM STatus function.
ACTION: Reenter the subcommand using one of the valid status
options, as follows:
1 = Global
2 = Level 2
3 = Level 3
4 = PAD
For example, to obtain information about the status of PAD support on
an SNP card contained in slot 3 of the DTC designated as DTC #1, you
would enter the following subcommand at the status subcommand
prompt:
