Destination
node name Optional field which specifies the system to which the
port will connect if “Automatic connection?” field
is enabled. A name must be entered if “Automatic
connection?” is enabled.
Initialization
string Optional field which specifies the string that will be
sent to the attached device under one of the following
circumstances:
• After resetting a port.
• After the connection to this port is closed.
• After establishing a connection to the DTC user
interface for modem connections when all modem
signals are up.
Field is case-sensitive and can be up to 16 characters,
including special characters and escape-code sequences
in the format ˆchar.
