Software
HP recommends using the drivers on the Windows Server 2008 R2 media for Windows Server 2008
R2 Hyper-V. Before installing the Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V server role, install the HP
ProLiant Support Pack for Windows Server 2008 R2 that is included with SmartStart 8.30 (or later).
HP does not support installing the Support Pack on a Windows Server 2008 R2 server running as a
guest OS within Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V.
NOTE
ProLiant 100 series servers do not use the ProLiant Support Pack. For
supported 100 series servers, please use the Driver Support CD that came
with the server or the HP website to install and update drivers
.
