Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 SP2 on HP Integrity Servers Overview v7.1

Reinstall Image DVD
When you purchase an Integrity server with a Windows Server operating system from HP, a license
for the latest version of the operating system is included along with downgrade rights to previous
versions of the operating system. Depending on the option ordered, either Windows Server 2008
R2 SP1 or Windows Server 2008 SP2 (except rx2800 i2 and BL8x0c i2) is installed on the system.
Reinstall image DVDs for currently shipping operating systems are also included in the media kits
in order to upgrade or downgrade the operating system as needed.
NOTE: For Integrity servers that come with a Windows Server operating system preloaded or
when using the Reinstall Image DVD, you are prompted to update the Support Pack from the Smart
Setup CD to get the latest versions of the Smart Components and to use the Smart Update DVD to
install the latest MS QFEs. HP recommends that you update the Support Pack and install the latest
QFEs.
