An ISA UART was created without a data structure. A PCI UART structure exists.
Probable Cause: The ISA UART code was called when a PCI UART structure and no
ISA UART structure were created. Recommended Action: Verify that the configuration
contains the correct UART type. SNMP Trap: hpevtISAUARTcreatWithoutDatStrct
- 11705 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.
Error11705
A TCGETS or TCSETS IOCTL failed. The errno status will be in a subsequent event.
Probable Cause: The device is not configured or is not the proper type. Recommended

A stat call on the PMAN failed. The next event contains the failure errno. Probable
Cause: The device does not exist or is not available. Recommended Action: Check

in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.
Error11707
The virtual machine driver could not be opened. Probable Cause: The virtual machine
software is not properly installed or is not running. Recommended Action: Restart
the virtual machine. If this fails verify that it is properly installed. SNMP Trap:
hpevtVMDrvNotOpen - 11708 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.

The virtual machine driver could not create a virtual machine. Probable Cause: The
PMAN kernel has insufficient memory available to create a guest. Recommended
Action: Add memory or reduce memory use SNMP Trap: hpevtVMDrvNotCreatVM
- 11709 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.
Error11709
Could not create a file system node for communication between the vmm driver and
the virtual machine. The next event contains the error from the Unix system call.
Probable Cause: Insufficient resources or file system problem. Recommended Action:
Verify that the root file system has no errors and is not full. SNMP Trap:
hpevtNotAbleCreatNodeForComm - 11710 in HPIFPTRAP.MIB.

The vm device was created but cannot be opened. Probable Cause: File system error
or PMAN has insufficient resources. Recommended Action: Verify that the root file
system has no errors and that the PMAN has sufficient memory. SNMP Trap:

The virtual machine driver has not been loaded. Probable Cause: HPVM has not been
started. Recommended Action: Start HPVM SNMP Trap: hpevtVMDrvNotLoad -

An attempt to create a thread on the PMAN has failed. The next event contains the
Unix error number. Probable Cause: Insufficient resources. Recommended Action:

VM Driver was unable to communicate with virtual machine. Probable Cause: This
is an internal error. Recommended Action: If this continues to occur, reinstall the
software. If this does not fix the problem contact your HP support representative.

The configuration file could not be read. Probable Cause: The configuration file is
missing or damaged. Recommended Action: Restore the configuration from a backup
