by the sx2000 chipset used in the rx8640, rx7640, and Superdome SX2000 and by the zx2 chipset
used in the rx6600, rx3600, rx2660, BL860c, and BL870c. The Intel Itanium 93xx processor is
supported by the Boxboro chipset used in the rx2800 i2, BL860c i2, BL870c i2, and BL890c i2.
Software Requirements
In addition to the software included from HP, the following software is required.
Web Browser
The browser-based interface to the HP Smart Setup and Smart Update CDs requires Internet
Explorer version 5.1 or higher. The latest version of Internet Explorer is available from the
Microsoft download site at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx.
NOTE: System Management Homepage (SMH) version 3.0.1 on SSM 6.5 supports Internet
Explorer up to version 7.0. A future version will support Internet Explorer 8.
OneCommand
To configure Fibre Channel host bus adapters (HBAs), the HBAnywhere utility is replaced by
the OneCommand application. The latest version of the OneCommand Manager Application
Kit is available from http://www.hp.com. Navigate to the Download drivers and software page
for your server and scroll down to the Utility FC HBA section.
